Available Roles:

All roles are open to all ethnicities.

Susan (F): Late-20s through early 30’s. Highly successful career academic. Consummate professional. Socially, physically and romantically a late bloomer. Having achieved early success, she’s currently in a bit of a YOLO phase but would never use that term.

Lincoln (M): Late teens. Well-read college freshman. Slight build. Geek chic. Overcompensates for confidence issues with over-the-top bravado. Has absolutely no game.

Nigel (M): Late 30’s - Late 50’s. Hyper-erudite. Physically commanding. Utterly debauched. Completely full of crap. English accent work required.

Kim (F): Mid-late teens. Sheltered, well meaning high school student getting a dose of college life and freedom for the first time. Has zero filter.

Synopsis: Inspired by the famous relationship rule of thumb coined by sex columnist Dan Savage, The Campsite Rule charts the course of late-20's-something historian Susan and college freshman Lincoln’s unlikely relationship with humanity, wit and the occasional bodily fluid. Between their friends’ disapproval, Susan's other hookups, and the chaos of life in general, the duo face challenges on the road to romance.  Exploring the light and dark sides of romance, Alexandra Petri’s sexy new comedy asks, when dating someone younger, how do you leave ‘em better than you found ‘em?
